Budapest Hikers planned the ultimate summer weekend for you at the Balaton with programmes you should not miss when you are at the Balaton. We will spend plenty of time exploring the area and enjoying the beach.
DAY 1 – Saturday – explore Badacsony
7:30 – Meeting at Kelenföld Train Station
8:00 – 11:00 – Train travel
11:30 – 12:00 – arrival/check-in at the accommodation
12:00 – 13:30 – Bike trip (15 km) to Badacsony and lunch together
13:30 – 19:00 – Walk/hike around the Badacsony mountain – Wine tasting and Free time
19:00 – 20:00 – Train/bike back to the accommodation
20:00 – 21:00 – Hungarian dinner in Bogrács
21:00 – Free time, games, socializing and local wine tasting:)
DAY 2 – Sunday – discover Révfülöp
8:00 – 9:30 – breakfast together at Hullám Hostel
9:30 – 10:30 – morning yoga
10:30 – 11:00 – free time – getting ready
11:00 – 13:30 – Hike up to the viewpoint in Révfülöp (6-7km)
13:30 – 19:00 – beach, free time (you can rent a SUP or other water sport equipment, lunch at the beach – not incl.)
19:00 – 22:00 – train back to Budapest
22:00 – Arrival to Kelenfold Train Station

Kinga: I am a psychologist and I spend most of her summers at the Balaton. I am really interested in gastronomy and photography, so feel free to ask me for tips about local wineries and food place and nice walking routes to take perfect pictures!
Erika: I am am the vice-president at BAIS and probably Badacsony and the Káli basin are my favourite areas in Hungary. I will be really happy to show you some hidden gems of the area and to recommend great hiking and walking routes around Badacsony and Révfülöp.
